Following the recent audit against the ISO 44001 Standard for Collaborative Business Relationship Management Systems, Unipart Rail has been recommended for recertification for a further three years.
The ISO 44001 standard provides Unipart Rail with a framework for managing collaborative business relationships with its customers, creating mutual value across a number of areas. We have been certified to the ISO 44001 and the previous BS11000 standard for 10 years now and we have supported many of our customers in gaining their own certification.
The auditor from BSI was really impressed with the maturity of Unipart Rail’s corporate relationship management system, the value we’re deriving from the relationships we have with customers under the standard, and how these are managed.
Fiona Hately, Customer Services Director said “I am so pleased that we have retained this important recognition. We were one of the very first businesses in the rail industry to achieve the accreditation and I am very glad that we could also help several of our customers achieve it over the years. This is about more that just the way we run our business – it’s how we work with our industry partners in a spirit of mutual support and common goals that means we all benefit.”
Unipart Rail will continue to be audited by BSI annually against the standard.
