To support the improvement of your stations and the passenger experience, Unipart Rail has an established product range covering: platform clocks for underground and overground application, and customer information systems providing details of train arrival and departure.

The range extends to onboard passenger awareness monitors detailing scheduled train stops and other relevant route information.

The Gateway to the passengers journey is either by main line, underground or light rail. Some stations can be inviting and others less so. However, industry has recognised that stations form an important and strategic part of the travel experience and have begun major schemes to improve all stations

Brighter and safer stations, fitted with energy efficient lighting, with easy access, clear information as to train arrivals and departures, help/alarm points and, for added security, closed circuit television form some of the packages of improvements being undertaken.

New ticket vending machines are being installed to help reduce delays and platforms are being lengthened to accomodate longer trains.

The introduction of these improvements will ensure that rail customers start their journey smoothly and effortlessly.

Products are designed with UK operating environment in mind and accordingly are;

• ingress protection rated (ip) to either IP65 or IP657 (double insulated)
• designed and tested to relevant EMC standards
• operating temperature range -20 to +65 degrees C

Readability of all products is designed to exceed DDA requirements. Products are designed to be lightweight, low maintenance and vandal resistant.
